Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Spray the crockpot with cooking spray or lightly oil the insert.
  2. Add sliced smoked sausage, baby potatoes, chopped onion, and garlic to the crockpot.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, heavy cream, dried thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender and flavors melded.
  6. Before serving, stir gently to combine. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
