A fun and crispy twist on the classic cheeseburger, wrapped in egg roll wrappers and fried to golden perfectionโperfect as an appetizer or snack.

- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup pickles, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the wrapper, near one corner.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly, sealing the edge with a little water.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Fry egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Try adding shredded lettuce or tomato slices inside before rolling for extra freshness.
- Can be baked at 425ยฐF (220ยฐC) for 15-20 minutes for a healthier version.
