Description

A fun and crispy twist on the classic cheeseburger, wrapped in egg roll wrappers and fried to golden perfectionโ€”perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the wrapper, near one corner.
  4. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, sealing the edge with a little water.
  5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  7. Fry egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Try adding shredded lettuce or tomato slices inside before rolling for extra freshness.
  • Can be baked at 425ยฐF (220ยฐC) for 15-20 minutes for a healthier version.
