  1. 1. Prepare the Crispy Chicken:

    • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

    • Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten egg, then dredge it in the flour mixture, pressing down lightly to ensure it sticks.
