Description
A simple and delicious banana bread made in the crock pot, featuring a soft texture with optional chocolate chips and nuts.
Ingredients

- Whole eggs
- 1/2 cup butter (softened, cubed)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 whole bananas (medium-sized, mashed)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans, chopped, optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine butter, eggs, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add in baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 cup of flour. Mix well.
- Add in the last cup of flour. The mixture should be thick.
- Mash bananas well and then add to the mixture. Mix well.
- If using optional ingredients (chocolate chips or nuts), add them now.
- Butter a small crockpot dish and pour the mixture in.
- Cook in a 6-quart crockpot for 4 hours on low. The top should be slightly brown, and the bread will bounce back when touched.
Notes
You can add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor and texture. Adjust the cooking time depending on the size of your crockpot.
