Description

Crock Pot Crack Chicken Pasta combines the creamy, cheesy goodness of crack chicken with pasta for the ultimate comfort food! This slow-cooked dish is packed with flavor, and perfect for a family-friendly dinner. Let your Crock Pot do the work for you while you enjoy the rich, cheesy sauce and tender chicken.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crock Pot:

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet of bacon bits (about 1/2 cup)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (cubed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your preferred pasta)
  • Water for boiling pasta

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of your Crock Pot. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken, then top with the bacon bits, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, milk, and garlic powder.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  3. Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the Crock Pot. Stir the mixture to combine the cheese and cream cheese into a creamy sauce.
  4. Prepare the Pasta: While the chicken is cooking, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  5. Combine Pasta and Chicken: Stir the cooked pasta into the Crock Pot mixture, making sure the pasta is evenly coated in the creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a bit more milk to reach your desired consistency.
  6. Serve: Serve warm, and garnish with extra shredded cheese, bacon bits, or chopped green onions if desired.
