Description

This comforting Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup is a perfect blend of tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and hearty egg noodles, simmered to perfection for a cozy meal any time.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups celery, diced
  • 2 cups carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients: Add chicken, vegetables, seasonings, and broth to a slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 5-6 hours.
  • Shred chicken and add noodles: Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker. Add egg noodles and cook for 20 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  • Serve: Stir in parsley and serve warm.
