- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta to al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- In the crockpot, layer half of the pasta, followed by half of the beef and vegetable mixture.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded provolone cheese over the first layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pasta, beef mixture, and cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture evenly over the layers in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the casserole is hot and creamy.
