Description
Crockpot Steak Bites are juicy, tender pieces of beef slow-cooked in a savory garlic butter sauce. This high-protein, low-effort recipe is perfect for meal prep, family dinners, or serving over mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs sirloin or chuck steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak cubes in batches for 1–2 minutes per side (optional, for added flavor).
- Transfer steak to a crockpot. Add garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and remaining olive oil or melted butter.
- Stir gently to coat the meat in the mixture.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours, until steak bites are fork-tender.
- Stir before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Chuck roast yields very tender results but has more fat; sirloin is leaner and slightly firmer.
- Don’t skip searing if you want a deeper flavor—it makes a difference!
- Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, cauliflower rice, or over a salad.
- Great for meal prep—store in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for later.
