Description

These crispy Shrimp Alfredo Burrito Bites combine creamy, cheesy shrimp filling wrapped in golden fried tortillas. Perfect for parties or indulgent appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 lb small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 810 small flour tortillas (street taco size)
  • Oil, for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until pink and opaque, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan into the shrimp until well coated.
  4. Place a spoonful of the shrimp Alfredo mixture into each tortilla. Roll tightly into small burrito shapes and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pan to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Carefully lower burrito bites into the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2–3 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Drain on paper towels and remove toothpicks before serving.
  8. Serve hot with extra Alfredo sauce or marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • You can use pre-cooked shrimp to speed up prep time.
  • To make it less spicy, omit the red pepper flakes.
  • Use toothpicks to secure the rolls for frying, but always remove before serving.
  • Homemade Alfredo sauce can enhance flavor significantly.
