Description

This Dessert Cinnamon Roll Casserole combines the comforting flavors of cinnamon rolls into a warm, shareable dish that’s perfect for breakfast or dessert. Easy to prepare and deliciously gooey, it’s sure to be a hit with the whole family!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls (17.5 oz each), cut into quarters
  • 2 oz milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Icing from the cinnamon roll cans

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Prepare Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and set aside.
  • Prepare Soaking Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine 2 oz of milk, 1 tbsp of vanilla extract, and ½ tbsp of ground cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Soak the Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Toss the quartered cinnamon roll pieces into the soaking mixture, ensuring each piece is coated. Let them soak for approximately 10-15 minutes.
  • Microwave Icing: While the rolls are soaking, microwave the icing from the cinnamon roll cans for 10-15 seconds to make it easier to drizzle later.
  • Assemble the Casserole: Transfer the soaked cinnamon roll pieces to the prepared baking dish, spreading them evenly.
  • Pour Icing Over the Top: Drizzle the warmed icing evenly over the top of the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish.
  • Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pieces are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the gooey goodness!

Notes

  • Allow the cinnamon rolls to soak for optimal flavor absorption.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of icing to your preference.
