Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings (split, tips removed)
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh dill, for garnish (optional)
- Ranch dressing, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl or zip-top bag, marinate the chicken wings in dill pickle juice for at least 2 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Drain the wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Toss wings with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in an air fryer basket.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes (flipping halfway) or air fry for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Garnish with fresh dill if desired and serve with ranch dressing for dipping!
Notes
- Patting the wings dry after marinating helps them crisp up better.
- Adjust seasoning based on your taste — add extra ranch or even a little paprika for spice!
- For extra crispy wings, place them under the broiler for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
