- 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pans: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease two 6-well donut trays with vegetable oil cooking spray.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Prepare wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, whisking until combined and lump-free.
- Fill donut pans: Fill donut pans with batter, leaving some space for rising.
- Bake: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool: Let donuts cool in pans for 5 minutes before removing.
- Make chocolate glaze: Melt chocolate, butter, and cream in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in almond extract.
- Dip and top: Dip cooled donuts in chocolate glaze and sprinkle with toasted almond slices.
