Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)

  • 1 cup crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), or preheat air fryer to 375°F.

  2. Prepare the dough: Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 8 equal rectangles or squares.

  3. Assemble the rolls: Add a spoonful of pizza sauce to each piece of dough, followed by cooked sausage, a few mini pepperoni slices (if using), and a sprinkle of mozzarella.

  4. Roll and seal: Fold and roll each dough piece tightly, pinching the edges to seal.

  5. Crush the Doritos: In a bowl, mix the crushed Doritos with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

  6. Coat the rolls: Brush each roll with egg wash or melted butter, then roll in the Doritos mixture until fully coated.

  7. Bake or air fry:

    • Oven: Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.

    • Air fryer: Place in a single layer and air fry for 10–12 minutes.
