Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 carrot, sliced into thin rounds (for the bunny’s nose and paws)
- 1 small cucumber, sliced (for bunny’s whiskers and ears)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)
- Assorted crackers, fresh vegetables (carrot sticks, celery, bell peppers), or bread for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Spinach Dip: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the thawed and drained spinach, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined and smooth.
- Shape the Bunny: Transfer the spinach dip mixture to a serving platter. Shape it into an oval or round mound to form the body of the bunny.
- Create the Bunny’s Features: Use the carrot slices to form the bunny’s nose and paws. Use cucumber slices to create the bunny’s whiskers and ears. You can also use parsley or cilantro to create fur details or around the base of the bunny.
- Chill and Serve: Chill the spinach dip bunny in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld and for the shape to firm up.
- Serve with Dippers: Serve with an assortment of crackers, fresh veggies (such as carrot sticks, celery, or bell peppers), or sliced bread for dipping.
Notes
- You can customize the bunny’s features with other vegetables, such as cherry tomatoes for eyes or radishes for extra decoration.
- If you prefer a lighter dip, you can swap out the mayo and sour cream for Greek yogurt.
- This dip can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Just add the garnishes right before serving.
