Description

This Easter Dip is a colorful, creamy, and light appetizer that’s perfect for spring gatherings and Easter celebrations! Packed with fresh vegetables, cream cheese, and a zesty seasoning, it’s a great addition to any spread. Serve with crackers, pita chips, or fresh veggies for a festive and delicious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix (or your favorite dip seasoning)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red, yellow, and green for color)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

  • Crackers, pita chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend them until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the ranch dressing mix (or your choice of seasoning) until well combined.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the cream cheese mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Fold in the diced bell peppers, green onions, carrots, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Mix until the veggies are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives for a pop of color, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers, pita chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can swap the vegetables based on your preferences—try adding diced celery, radishes, or olives for different textures.
  • For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and reduced-fat cream cheese.

  • If you prefer a little extra zing, add a few teaspoons of hot sauce or a squeeze of lemon juice to the dip.
