Description

These Easter Egg Oreo Balls are the perfect sweet treat for your springtime celebrations! Made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and dipped in pastel-colored chocolate, they resemble cute little Easter eggs, making them ideal for Easter baskets or as a festive dessert. Easy to make, fun to decorate, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips (or candy melts)
  • Food coloring (pastel shades for Easter theme)
  • Sprinkles or decorations (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. While the Oreo balls chill, melt the white chocolate chips (or candy melts) in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Add food coloring to the melted chocolate to create pastel colors (such as pink, yellow, lavender, or blue).
  7. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted colored chocolate, using a fork to coat them completely, then place them back on the parchment paper.
  8. Optional: Decorate with sprinkles, candy, or drizzle with contrasting colored chocolate.
  9. Chill the decorated Oreo balls for another 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer to keep it simple, you can skip the food coloring and use regular white chocolate.
  • For an extra crunchy texture, you can roll the balls in crushed nuts or additional Oreo crumbs after dipping them in chocolate.
  • These Oreo balls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
