Description

This Easter Oreo Cookie Casserole is a decadent, no-bake dessert that’s perfect for your holiday celebrations. With layers of creamy cheesecake filling, crunchy Oreo cookies, and a rich chocolate drizzle, it’s sure to be the highlight of your dessert table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for drizzle)

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Place it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
  2. Prepare the Filling:

    • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
    • In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes.
    • Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture, combining until smooth.
    • If desired, fold in the mini marshmallows for extra texture.
  3. Assemble the Casserole:

    • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled Oreo crust.
    • Top with additional crushed Oreos and mini marshmallows, if desired.
  4. Make the Chocolate Drizzle:

    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and 1/4 cup heavy cream together in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth and fully melted.
    • Drizzle the chocolate over the casserole.
  5. Chill and Serve:

    • Refrigerate the casserole for at least 3 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors set and firm up.
    • Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • You can decorate with sprinkles or Easter-themed candies to make it more festive.
  • For a lighter version, you can use reduced-fat cream cheese and whipped topping instead of heavy cream.

  • If you don’t like marshmallows, feel free to omit them for a smoother texture.
