- 9 oz cheese-filled ravioli (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place half of the ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the ravioli.
- Pour half of the remaining marinara sauce over the cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining ravioli, sauce, and cheeses.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- Feel free to use gluten-free ravioli if needed.
