Description

These Easy Chocolate Balls are a simple and delicious treat, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. With a rich chocolate flavor and a smooth texture, these bite-sized treats are no-bake and come together quickly. Whether you’re preparing for a party, a holiday treat, or just a sweet snack, these chocolate balls are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16 oz) chocolate wafer cookies (or graham crackers)
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles, chopped nuts, or extra cocoa powder for rolling

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cookies: Crush the chocolate wafer cookies into fine crumbs. You can do this by placing them in a food processor or putting them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, softened butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated into a thick, dough-like consistency.
  • Form the Balls: Use your hands to roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. If you’d like to add mini chocolate chips, you can fold them into the mixture before rolling.
  • Coat the Balls: Roll each chocolate ball in your desired coating—whether it’s sprinkles, chopped nuts, or additional cocoa powder. This will add extra flavor and texture to the balls.
  • Chill: Place the chocolate balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them set.
  • Serve: Once chilled, serve the chocolate balls and enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, you can add a tablespoon of peanut butter, almond butter, or coconut to the mixture.
  • You can also dip these chocolate balls in melted chocolate for an extra indulgent treat.
  • If you prefer a firmer texture, you can refrigerate the dough for 10 minutes before rolling it into balls.
