Description

Easy Chocolate Oreo Delight is a no-bake dessert that layers creamy chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and crunchy Oreo cookies for a sweet, indulgent treat. It’s perfect for parties, potlucks, or whenever you’re craving a quick and delicious dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (15.25 oz) package Oreo cookies (divided)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 (3.4 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo Base:
Crush about half of the Oreo cookies into crumbs (you can use a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin).
Spread the crushed Oreos evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. This will serve as your base layer.

  2. Make the Cream Cheese Layer:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and well-combined.
Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Spread this cream cheese mixture over the crushed Oreo base, smoothing it out evenly.

  3. Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Layer:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mixes and milk. Stir for 2 minutes or until the pudding thickens.
Pour the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

  4. Top with Oreos and Chocolate Chips:
Crush the remaining Oreo cookies and sprinkle them over the chocolate pudding layer for added crunch and flavor.
If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top for extra richness.

  5. Chill the Dessert:
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set and the flavors to meld together.

  6. Serve:
Once chilled, slice and serve your Easy Chocolate Oreo Delight. Enjoy the creamy, crunchy layers in every bite!

Notes

  • For a twist, you can substitute the chocolate pudding with vanilla or cheesecake-flavored pudding.
  • If you prefer a sweeter topping, you can drizzle hot fudge or caramel sauce over the dessert before serving.
  • The dessert can be made a day ahead for convenience, as it only improves in flavor the longer it sits in the fridge.
