Description

A creamy and delicious Egg Salad Sandwich made with boiled eggs, mayonnaise, and mustard, served on your choice of bread. Perfect for lunch or a light meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Cool and peel: Transfer boiled eggs to ice water for 5 minutes, then peel and chop.
  • Mix the egg salad: Combine chopped eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, and green onions in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble the sandwiches: Spread egg salad on two slices of bread, add lettuce if desired, and top with remaining slices.
  • Serve: Cut in half and enjoy immediately.
