Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 23 tbsp cold water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine flour, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Pulse to mix.
  3. Add cold cubed butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add cold water, 1 tbsp at a time, pulsing until dough comes together.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and roll out to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  6. Cut into small squares (about 1 inch) using a knife or pizza cutter. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
  7. Use a fork to prick each cracker to prevent puffing.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  9. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
