- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2–3 tbsp cold water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine flour, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Pulse to mix.
- Add cold cubed butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add cold water, 1 tbsp at a time, pulsing until dough comes together.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface and roll out to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- Cut into small squares (about 1 inch) using a knife or pizza cutter. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
- Use a fork to prick each cracker to prevent puffing.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
