Description

Boost your immune system and soothe your body with this natural Flu Fighter Tea. Packed with ginger, lemon, honey, and a dash of cayenne pepper, it’s the perfect comforting drink to help you fight off colds and flu symptoms. A warm, healing drink to sip on when you’re feeling under the weather!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for an extra kick)
  • 12 slices of lemon (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the sliced fresh ginger to the water and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you want the ginger flavor.
  3. Remove the water from heat and strain the ginger pieces out.
  4. Stir in the honey and lemon juice until well combined.
  5. Add the cayenne pepper if desired for an extra boost.
  6. Pour the tea into your favorite mug and garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.
  7. Sip slowly and enjoy the soothing, immune-boosting benefits!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey, depending on your preference.
  • If you prefer a less spicy version, skip the cayenne pepper.
  • Fresh ginger gives the tea a stronger flavor, but you can also use ginger powder if you don’t have fresh ginger on hand.
  • This tea can be consumed up to 3 times a day for immune support during flu season.
