- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced

- 1–2 slices of lemon (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Add the sliced fresh ginger to the water and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you want the ginger flavor.
- Remove the water from heat and strain the ginger pieces out.
- Stir in the honey and lemon juice until well combined.
- Add the cayenne pepper if desired for an extra boost.
- Pour the tea into your favorite mug and garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.
- Sip slowly and enjoy the soothing, immune-boosting benefits!
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey, depending on your preference.
- If you prefer a less spicy version, skip the cayenne pepper.
