Description

A delicious twist on a classic appetizer, Fried Deviled Eggs feature creamy, flavorful yolk filling encased in a crispy panko coating. Perfect for parties, gatherings, or as a unique snack, these bite-sized delights are sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika (for garnish)
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  • Prepare deviled eggs: Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and carefully remove the yolks. Set the whites aside. In a medium bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  • Set up breading station: Prepare three bowls for breading: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko bread crumbs.
  • Bread deviled eggs: Dip each deviled egg half in the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat in panko bread crumbs.
  • Fry deviled eggs: Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the deviled eggs for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
  • Serve: Sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crispy texture.
  • For extra flavor, you can add minced garlic or herbs to the yolk mixture.
