Description

These Fudgy Peanut Butter Brownies are the perfect indulgence for chocolate and peanut butter lovers. With a rich, fudgy brownie base, a smooth peanut butter layer, and a topping of chocolate and peanut butter chips, they are guaranteed to be a hit at any gathering. Easy to make and incredibly delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the peanut butter by microwaving it for 20-30 seconds. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the brownie batter in the dish.
  • Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into bars

Notes

  • Don’t overmix the brownie batter to maintain a fudgy texture.
  • Make sure the peanut butter is soft enough to spread evenly over the batter.
