- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the peanut butter by microwaving it for 20-30 seconds. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the brownie batter in the dish.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into bars
