Description

Juicy sirloin steak slices served on crispy garlic bread, topped with a zesty horseradish cream sauce. Perfect for appetizers or a hearty snack, these Garlic Bread Steak Bites are sure to impress at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb of Sirloin Steaks
  • 1 long loaf of French Baguette or French Bread
  • 1 Stick of Butter (softened)
  • Worcestershire Sauce (to taste)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic Powder (to taste)
  • Dried Parsley (to taste)

Optional Horseradish Cream Sauce:

  • 3/4 cup of sour cream
  • Fresh Horseradish (to taste)

Instructions

  • Remove the steaks from the package and pat them dry. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Let the steaks rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a heavy skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  • Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 5 to 6 minutes per side (adjust cooking time for thickness). Flip only once, then turn off the heat and let the steaks rest in the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board, cover loosely with foil, and let rest for another 10 minutes.
  • While the steaks rest, slice the French bread into thick slices (about 1 inch). Spread softened butter on each slice, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley.
  • Toast the bread in an air fryer at 360 degrees for 5 minutes or bake in the oven until crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
  • Slice the rested steak across the grain into thin strips and sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce.
  • For the optional horseradish cream, mix sour cream, fresh horseradish, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley until smooth.
  • Assemble the bites by placing two slices of steak on each piece of garlic bread. Top with horseradish cream and a sprinkle of black pepper. Garnish with sliced chives or green onions if desired.

Notes

You can prepare the steak a day in advance for convenience. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
