This Garlic Butter Baked Brie is a decadent, savory appetizer that’s sure to impress! With a golden, melty center and a rich, garlic butter sauce, this dish is perfect for entertaining or a cozy evening. Serve with crusty bread or crackers for an irresistible, crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 oz)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried thyme)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for drizzling)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare the Brie: Place the Brie cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet or a small baking dish.

  3. Make garlic butter: In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and thyme, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.

  4. Bake the Brie: Pour the garlic butter mixture over the top of the Brie cheese. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and soft but still holding its shape.

  5. Garnish and serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and drizzle with honey (if using) and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette.

  • You can experiment with different herbs, such as rosemary or basil, for a unique flavor twist.

  • For an extra indulgent touch, top with chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans) before baking.
