Ingredients
Scale
For the Chicken Balls:
- 1 lb Ground Chicken
- 1/4 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil (for frying)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice (optional, for a tangy twist)
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
- 8 oz Pasta (any variety, but fettuccine or spaghetti works best)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Make the Chicken Balls:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in size.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken balls in batches, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
- Add the cooked chicken balls back into the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce. Add lemon juice if using and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Keep warm.
- Make the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the creamy Parmesan sauce, coating it well.
- Assemble:
- Serve the creamy Parmesan pasta with the garlic butter chicken balls on top. Garnish with additional parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute the ground chicken with ground turkey if preferred.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream in the pasta.
- The garlic butter sauce can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
