Juicy garlic butter chicken bites paired with twisted pasta tossed in a creamy, spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce. A deliciously bold dinner that’s easy to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, remaining Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
- Cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors and heat through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
- Add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
