Description

Juicy garlic butter chicken bites paired with twisted pasta tossed in a creamy, spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce. A deliciously bold dinner that’s easy to make and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese, remaining Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 3–4 minutes.
  8. Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
  9. Cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors and heat through.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
