Description

Succulent chicken thighs seared to perfection and baked in a rich garlic butter sauce, delivering crispy skin and tender meat. This dish is easy to prepare and bursting with flavor, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Heat olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-6 minutes until golden. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to low, add butter, and once melted, add minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon garlic butter over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and remaining garlic butter sauce.
