- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
- Heat olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-6 minutes until golden. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to low, add butter, and once melted, add minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon garlic butter over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and remaining garlic butter sauce.
