Description

Garlic Butter Parmesan Chicken Bites with Creamy Herb Sauce are a mouthwatering appetizer or main dish that’s loaded with flavor! Tender chicken bites are coated in a rich garlic butter and Parmesan mixture, then served with a velvety creamy herb sauce. These bites are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the herb sauce takes them to the next level of deliciousness!

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Chicken Bites:
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • For the Creamy Herb Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  2. Cook the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the garlic butter: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the chicken and stir until the chicken is well-coated.
  4. Make the creamy herb sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, fresh parsley, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  5. Serve: Plate the garlic butter Parmesan chicken bites and drizzle with the creamy herb sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!

Notes

  • For a bit of spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
  • You can also serve these chicken bites with a side of roasted vegetables or over a bed of rice for a more filling meal.
  • To make the creamy herb sauce ahead of time, store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • If you prefer a lighter version, you can substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt in the herb sauce.
