Ingredients

  • Steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Egg noodles (or any noodles of choice)
  • Butter
  • Garlic, minced
  • Soy sauce
  • Oyster sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Season the steak slices with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss to combine and heat through.
  6. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, toss everything together, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if desired.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free noodles and tamari instead of soy sauce.
  • You can substitute the steak with chicken or pork if you prefer.
  • If you want extra heat, add more red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha to the sauce.
