Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
-
1 lb sirloin steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
-
3 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic (minced)
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
½ tsp smoked paprika
-
Salt & pepper (to taste)
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
For the Creamy Parmesan Shells:
-
2 cups medium shell pasta
-
1½ cups heavy cream
-
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
-
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
-
Cook the pasta: Boil the shell pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
-
Prepare the steak bites: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
-
Add garlic & butter: Reduce heat to medium, add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook for 30 seconds, stirring to coat the steak in the butter-garlic mixture. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Make the creamy parmesan sauce: In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
-
Combine pasta & cheese: Reduce heat to low and stir in the parmesan and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth. Add the cooked shell pasta, stirring to coat evenly.
-
Assemble & serve: Plate the creamy parmesan shells and top with the garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
-
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the steak bites.
-
Substitute sirloin with ribeye or filet mignon for a more luxurious dish.
-
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
