Description

Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles are a quick, flavorful meal combining tender seared steak with egg noodles tossed in a savory garlic butter sauce, finished with green onions and sesame seeds for a crave-worthy dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles, cooked
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak slices for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove steak and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add red pepper flakes (if using), soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  5. Return the steak to the pan and stir gently to combine everything well.
  6. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak in a bit of soy sauce and garlic before cooking.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less spice.
  • Substitute egg noodles with ramen or rice noodles as desired.
  • Leftovers keep well in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
