Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (85% lean or higher)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 small dinner rolls (or slider buns)
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut in half to fit the rolls)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the beef:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Shape the beef mixture into small patties, about the size of the buns, ensuring that they will fit perfectly when assembled.
- Cook the beef patties:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the garlic butter:
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Assemble the bites:
- Slice the dinner rolls (or slider buns) in half. Place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet.
- Place a cooked beef patty on each bun.
- Add a half slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the garlic butter mixture, then place the top halves of the buns on top.
- Bake:
- Place the assembled garlic cheeseburger bites in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the buns are golden and the cheese has melted.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use other cheeses like Swiss, American, or provolone for a different flavor.
- For an extra kick, add a few slices of pickles or a drizzle of your favorite sauce (like ketchup or mustard) before serving.
- These cheeseburger bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
