Description
These indulgent bites combine seasoned ground beef, creamy cheeses, and a buttery biscuit crust, topped with a garlic Parmesan finish. Perfect for a quick meal or party appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Season the Beef: Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Mix well.
- Add Cheeses: Stir in the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until the mixture is creamy and well combined. Remove from heat.
- Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle.
- Assemble the Bombs: Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal completely.
- Prepare the Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake: Arrange the filled biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the garlic Parmesan mixture. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve: Let the bombs cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
Notes
- Cheese Variations: Substitute cheddar with mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor profile.
- Meat Options: Ground turkey or chicken can be used as leaner alternatives to beef.
- Spice Level: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the beef mixture for a spicy kick.
- Make Ahead: Assemble the bombs and refrigerate them until ready to bake.
- Freezing: Unbaked bombs can be frozen and baked directly from the freezer; add a few extra minutes to the baking time.
