Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Set aside.
- Make the Batter: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until smooth. Mix in the eggs, molasses, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until no streaks of flour remain.
- Bake the Brownies: Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is no longer jiggly. Tip: If using a 9×13-inch pan, reduce baking time to 25–30 minutes.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, dust with confectioners’ sugar. Cut into squares and serve.
