Description

This Gooey Nutella-Stuffed Cookie Pie is the ultimate dessert indulgence! With a soft, chewy cookie crust and a rich Nutella center, it’s baked to golden perfection in a pie dish and served warm for a deliciously melty treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Cookie Dough:
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For the Filling:
  • 3/4 cup Nutella (or other chocolate-hazelnut spread)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Cookie Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Assemble the Pie: Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie dish. Spread the Nutella evenly over the dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the top of the Nutella layer and gently spread to cover, sealing the edges as best as possible.
  6. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set but still soft. Let cool for at least 10–15 minutes before serving for a gooey texture.
  7. Serve: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of extra Nutella, if desired.

Notes

  • For easier spreading, microwave the Nutella for 10–15 seconds to soften it before layering.
  • Don’t overbake — the center should stay slightly gooey for the best texture.
  • You can customize the cookie dough with different mix-ins like chopped hazelnuts or white chocolate chips.
  • This pie can be made ahead and gently reheated in the oven before serving.
