Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Make the Cookie Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Assemble the Pie: Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie dish. Spread the Nutella evenly over the dough, leaving about a 1/2-inch border.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the top of the Nutella layer and gently spread to cover, sealing the edges as best as possible.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set but still soft. Let cool for at least 10–15 minutes before serving for a gooey texture.
- Serve: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of extra Nutella, if desired.

- For easier spreading, microwave the Nutella for 10–15 seconds to soften it before layering.
- Don’t overbake — the center should stay slightly gooey for the best texture.
