Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed or lightly sautéed)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- ½ cup shredded cheese (optional, cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional, for added flavor)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
-
1️⃣ Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the flank steak and let it marinate for at least 15–30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge).2️⃣ Grill the Beef
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Grill the beef for 4–5 minutes per side (or longer, depending on your preferred level of doneness). Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.3️⃣ Prepare the Broccoli
If not already cooked, steam or sauté the broccoli florets until tender but still vibrant green, about 3–4 minutes.4️⃣ Assemble the Wraps
Place the tortillas on a flat surface.
Layer each tortilla with a portion of the sliced grilled beef, steamed broccoli, and optional shredded cheese.
Drizzle with soy sauce and lemon juice for extra flavor, if desired.5️⃣ Wrap and Serve
Fold the sides of the tortillas over the filling and roll up tightly into wraps.
Serve immediately or pack for a delicious and healthy meal on the go.
Notes
- You can substitute the beef with grilled chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- For extra crunch, add some fresh lettuce or thinly sliced bell peppers to the wrap.
- Try using whole wheat or spinach tortillas for added nutrition.
