Description

Quick and delicious ground beef tortilla wraps filled with seasoned beef, melted cheese, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep on busy days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce or salsa
  • 46 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Hot sauce or jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the beef with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in tomato sauce or salsa and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture onto each tortilla, then top with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and other desired toppings.
  6. Wrap tightly by folding in the sides and rolling up from the bottom. Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

  • For crispy wraps, grill them in a skillet after wrapping until golden and warm.
  • You can swap ground beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat.
  • Make it spicy by adding chopped jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
