Description

Halloween Deviled Eggs are a spooky and fun twist on the classic appetizer. These deviled eggs feature a vibrant orange yolk mixture with creepy black olive “eyes,” making them a perfect addition to your Halloween festivities.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red and yellow food coloring
  • Black olives

Instructions

  • Prepare the Eggs: Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
  • Make the Filling: In a bowl, mash the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth. Add a few drops of red and yellow food coloring to achieve an orange color.
  • Assemble the Deviled Eggs: Spoon or pipe the orange yolk mixture into each egg white half.
  • Add Spooky Eyes: Slice black olives into small pieces and place them on top of the yolk mixture to resemble spooky eyes.

Notes

  • Use older eggs for easier peeling.
  • If the yolk mixture is too thick, add a little more mayonnaise to reach the desired consistency.
  • Store deviled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
