Ingredients

Scale

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • 3 sesame seed hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 12 dill pickle slices

Instructions

  • Prepare the Big Mac Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, finely chopped pickles, yellow mustard, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the Burger Patties:

    • Divide the ground beef into 6 equal portions and shape them into thin patties.
    • Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
    • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  • Toast the Buns:

    • Slice the hamburger buns into three parts: top bun, middle bun (using the bottom of an extra bun), and bottom bun.
    • Toast the buns lightly in a separate skillet or toaster.
  • Assemble the Big Mac:

    • Spread a generous amount of Big Mac sauce on the bottom bun.
    • Add a handful of shredded iceberg lettuce and some finely diced onions.
    • Place one slice of American cheese and a cooked burger patty on top.
    • Place the middle bun on top of the first layer.
    • Repeat the process: spread Big Mac sauce, add lettuce, onions, and pickles, then place the second burger patty.
    • Top with the remaining bun half.
  • Serve:

    • Serve immediately while the burgers are hot.

Notes

  • For a classic Big Mac experience, use fresh sesame seed buns and try to replicate the original sauce as closely as possible.
  • You can also add extra pickles or cheese if desired.
