- 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs

- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare the Mozzarella: Unwrap and cut mozzarella sticks in half for shorter pieces (optional).
- Set Up Breading Stations: Place flour in one bowl, eggs and water in a second, and breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a third.
- Coat the Mozzarella: Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat for an extra layer of crunch.
- Freeze: Arrange the breaded sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 1 hour.
- Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry mozzarella sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Serve hot with marinara sauce
