Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (optional, for spreading inside or serving as a dip)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or salami
- 1/2 cup sliced ham
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll Out the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 10×14 inches.
- Add the Fillings: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese, then layer the pepperoni (or salami), ham, and remaining mozzarella. Sprinkle with Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Roll and Seal: Carefully roll the dough from one long edge, tucking in the sides as you go. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve: Slice and serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Notes
