Spicy and juicy chicken burgers infused with chili and bold seasonings, perfect for a fiery twist on a classic burger.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 tablespoons chili powder (adjust to heat preference)
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional for extra heat)
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato slices, and your favorite burger toppings
- Optional: sliced cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and jalapeño (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through and juices run clear.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or skillet.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Adjust chili powder and jalapeño amount based on your spice tolerance.
- Can also be cooked in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with spicy mayo or chipotle sauce for an extra kick.
