Description

Spicy and juicy chicken burgers infused with chili and bold seasonings, perfect for a fiery twist on a classic burger.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 tablespoons chili powder (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional for extra heat)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, and your favorite burger toppings
  • Optional: sliced cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and jalapeño (if using). Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through and juices run clear.
  4. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or skillet.
  6. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Adjust chili powder and jalapeño amount based on your spice tolerance.
  • Can also be cooked in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
