For the Brownies:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
For the Marshmallow Frosting:
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan. Line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semisweet chocolate until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Whisk the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, instant coffee, flour, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat the marshmallow fluff, softened butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and dust the top with cocoa powder.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the brownies are completely cool before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting.
