Description

Rich, fudgy brownies infused with chocolate and topped with a light and fluffy marshmallow frosting. Perfect for cozy nights or special occasions!

For the Brownies:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

For the Marshmallow Frosting:

  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan. Line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semisweet chocolate until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
  • Whisk the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, instant coffee, flour, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
  • For the frosting, beat the marshmallow fluff, softened butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
  • Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and dust the top with cocoa powder.
  • Slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the brownies are completely cool before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting.
