- 1 tsp to 1 Tbsp hot sauce
- ยฝ tsp crushed red pepper
- ยฝ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ยฝ tsp garlic powder
- ยฝ tsp onion powder
- โ tsp salt
- โ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- โ cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Preheat broiler. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, and crushed red pepper. Warm for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness between sheets of plastic wrap using a meat mallet.
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a cast-iron or ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Top each chicken breast with crumbled feta cheese. Transfer skillet to oven and broil for 2 to 3 minutes, or until cheese is lightly browned.
- Drizzle chicken with the hot honey mixture just before serving.
