It’s a unique twist on pizza that will have everyone asking for more!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Flatbread Pizza:

  • 4 pieces of flatbread (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese (optional for creaminess)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing the flatbread)

For the Hot Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey with a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to heat preference)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you’re using a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  2. Prepare the flatbreads:

    • Brush each flatbread lightly with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet or directly on the oven rack for a crispier crust.

    • Bake the flatbreads in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until they are golden and slightly crispy.

  3. Make the hot honey garlic sauce:

    • While the flatbreads are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.

    • Add the minced garlic to the butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

    • Stir in the hot honey (or regular honey with red pepper flakes), soy sauce, and red pepper flakes.

    • Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat.

  4. Assemble the pizzas:

    • Once the flatbreads are crispy, remove them from the oven.

    • Spread a thin layer of ricotta cheese (if using) on each flatbread, followed by a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.

    • Drizzle the hot honey garlic sauce evenly over the top of each flatbread pizza.

  5. Bake the pizzas:

    • Return the flatbreads to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Garnish and serve:

    • Once out of the oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and extra flavor.

    • Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add extra toppings to your flatbread pizzas, such as pepperoni, red onion, spinach, or arugula.

  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes or drizzle extra hot honey on top after baking.

  • If you prefer a crispier crust, bake the flatbreads directly on the oven rack instead of a baking sheet.
