Description
Hot Honey Ranch is a spicy, sweet, and tangy dressing or dip that brings a bold twist to classic ranch. Made with creamy ingredients, zesty seasonings, and a drizzle of hot honey, it’s perfect for salads, wings, fries, or as a dipping sauce for just about anything.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk (adjust for desired consistency)
- 1 tablespoon hot honey (plus more to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for extra depth)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or white vinegar (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
- Add the hot honey, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more hot honey if you want it sweeter and spicier.
- Stir in lemon juice or vinegar if a tangier flavor is desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled as a dip or dressing.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne or a dash of hot sauce.
- Use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream for a lighter option.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
