Description

Warm and comforting, this Hot Vanilla Spiced Tea combines the rich flavors of black tea with the delightful spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, topped with creamy milk and optional whipped cream. Perfect for cozying up on chilly days!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 black tea bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf black tea)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Brew the Tea:
In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the black tea bags (or loose-leaf tea) and steep for 4-5 minutes. Remove the tea bags once done to avoid bitterness.
  • Warm the Milk and Add Spices:
In a separate saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling. Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until well combined.
  • Combine the Tea and Milk:
Pour the spiced milk mixture into the brewed tea and stir to blend the flavors together.
  • Sweeten to Taste (Optional):
If you like your tea sweet, add honey or sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Serve and Garnish:
Pour the tea into your favorite mugs. For an indulgent touch, top with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
  • Enjoy the Cozy Moments:
Take a sip of your Hot Vanilla Spiced Tea and feel the warmth spread with every sip.

Notes

  • Adjust the spices according to your taste.
  • You can substitute the honey or sugar with a sugar alternative if desired.
